Nasrallah: Abu Kamal liberation end of Daesh in history

“On the Syrian side we have the battle of Abu Kamal. Today, we are facing a huge military achievement and its importance lies in that it’s the last bastion of ISIL [Daesh] terrorists,” Lebanese TV Al Manar quoted Nasrallah as saying.

“ISIL [Daesh] terrorists are still found in some parts in Syria, but as a ‘state’ it’s over.”

He urged all world leaders to see who the founder of Daesh was and who stood against the terrorists.

“The US air force secured an aerial coverage for the ISIL, the terrorists were moving openly and the American Air Force prevented the Russian warplanes from attacking the terrorists,” according to Al Manar.

Commenting on defeat of Daesh in Iraq, he said, “Last week we witnessed the liberation of the last Iraqi city and province from ISIL control as the Iraqi government announced.”

“ISIL as an organization and a military structure has ended in Iraq and the Iraqi forces have reached the Syrian border.”

“We will mull our position in Iraq with the supervision of the Iraqi forces, if there’s no more need for our presence there our forces will withdraw to other fields.”

According to Al Manar, Nasrallah rebuffed Arab League statement that said Hezbollah was sending advanced ballistic missiles to Yemen: We didn’t send weapons to any Arab country.

“Saudi and Bahraini ministers told the Lebanese that if they did not solve the issue of Hezbollah, stability would be threatened. I tell you that Hezbollah’s weapon is the most important factor in achieving stability in Lebanon.”

“The agitation we are witnessing in the Arab world is a cover for an announcement of normalization of relations with ‘Israel’.”

Sayyed Nasrallah pays condolences to Iranians on the deadly earthquake that hit Kermanshah province last week.

A 7.3-magnitude earthquake shook the western province of Kermanshah and the regions bordering Iraq last week, killing at least 437 people and injuring over ten thousands others.
