Mousavian: Trump is to loot Arab petrodollars by accusing Iran

'I believe that Trump himself does not believe in assessment made about Iran's involvement in training and arming terrorists across Yemen to Lebanon,” he said.

As you remember, during the US presidential campaign, Trump said Saudi Arabia is the first root cause of terrorism. After the election, he blatantly said that Saudi Arabia and other Arab states in the Persian Gulf region have nothing except petrodollars and they have no option except to pay them all to us, Mousavian said.

There is no doubt that Trump is looking for hundred of billions of petrodollars of Arab states in the Persian Gulf littoral states to create more job opportunities and rehabilitate and revitalize the US economy, he said.

He never hesitates to accuse Iran for arm sales so as to grab Arab’s petrodollars, Mousavian said.

Not only Trump, but also Obama administration along with thousands of US media reports have already approved that Saudi Arabia is the main supplier of weapons, financial supporter and ideological supporter of Wahabi terrorists in the region, he said.

Consequently, Trump is looking for business and has nothing to do with fight against terrorism, Mousavian said.

In fight against terrorists they should understand that terrorist groups such as Al-Qaeda, Daesh, Al-Nusra Front and Wahabi are Sunni and not Shiite and Saudi Arabia is the hub of Wahabis and not Iran, he added.

'We believe that nuclear negotiations could be a good model and big achievement for diplomacy that President Trump can resort to resolve differences with Iran,' he said.

To resolve the regional crisis, Trump should pave the way for diplomacy and this could be achieved through establishing direct and high profile talks with Iran, Mousavian said.
