Mohamed Sudan: Int’l community dare not to implement 1967 borders

Sudan told IRNA that 'Hamas' has embraced the international community by recognizing UN resolution, since the world will continue supporting Israel.

Following is the full text interview with ‘Mohamed Sudan’.

Q. How is the situation in Palestine?

A. Now we have more than 4 million Palestinians as refugees in different countries over the world. They lost their homes, they lost their land, they lost their soils. These people have the right to come back and return to their countries. They have the right to get back their homes and lands. This is their very simple right to any human right, but unfortunately the international community is supporting the enemies to attack the innocent people in Palestine and this is a shame for them.

Also every day the Palestinian people are suffering from their regular needs of life. They cannot move from town to town, even they cannot pray in the Aqsa mosque, they don’t get the right to work, they are suffering in their own lands and this is terrible.

Q. What is the solution?

A. I believe the minimum now is to get back to the boundaries of 1967 and implement the resolutions of UN. This is the minimum demand for the Palestinian people. They have the right to go back to their country. They have the right to get back to their properties, their lands. Then as Khalid Mashal said few days ago, we can talk about having 2 governments.

Q. Hamas has recently published a new document and changed in position on the 1967 borders. Does that mean that they are recognizing the Israeli government?

A. I believe that Hamas is now trying to embrace the international community, because the international community recognized them as terrorist movement so now they say that’s fine, we agree the UN resolution but no one will listen, no one will support them to even implement this declaration.

So now they are trying to do some politics that if we agree, will you implement that and give back our lands, will you give us the right of returning our Palestinian refugees back home? I don’t think they can do it.

I think that then they will play politics, they put the international community in a very critical position. I believe no one will do it and the international community will still support the Zionists.

Q. What is your view on the role of Iran in supporting Palestine?

A. Any country in this world, that supports Palestine to get their rights back we respect this.

Q. What is your thought about the role of Britain for supporting the Zionist regime?

A. They did a very big conspiracy, when they had the Balfour declaration to have a homeland for the Zionists inside Palestine when they don’t have right to do this.

Anyone who supports this is a criminal, this is a big crime not against the Palestinian people, but against all the human being in the world.
