Minister: Mirjaveh incident not befitting of bilateral ties

In a phone conversation with Nesar Ali Khan on Monday, he said, “We are ready to hold special security and border committee meetings and help implement their decisions.'

Calling for boosting economic interaction and border trade cooperation, especially in Rimdan border market, Rahmani-Fazli said that economic interaction in border areas can help create sustainable security on the border. Nine Iranian border guards were martyred and two others injured by terrorists near Pakistan border in southeastern province of Sistan-Balouchestan on April 26, when they were patrolling at the zero border point. The terrorists after the killings and abducting one Iranian border guard fled to Pakistan’s territories.
