Majlis speaker advisor: Iran supports security in Afghanistan

He made the remarks in a meeting with Head of Afghanistan delegation in the sixth international conference in support for Palestine Intifada Haq Pal Mohammad Ajan.

Amir-Abdollahian added that Iran and Afghanistan have plenty of commonalties and strengthening relations and cooperation between the two countries would be beneficial for both nations.

He added that world people would not forget resistance of Afghan people in confrontation with occupation and terrorism and applauds it.

Haq Pal Mohammad Ajan expressed pleasure for participating in the conference, and added that Iran has special position in the region for Afghanistan and that Afghanistan wants Iran’s cooperation for settling crisis in the region and Afghanistan.

He also expressed hope that bilateral relations could increase in different fields.

Explaining political and parliamentary cooperation dimensions between the two countries, Mohammad Ajan underlined necessity for unity in Islamic world and fight against terrorism.
