Larijani congratulates Firouzabadi on new appointment

Ayatollah Khamenei on Tuesday appointed Major General Firouzabadi as his senior military commander.

Earlier on Tuesday, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei appointed Major General Mohammad-Hossein Baqeri as the new chief of staff of armed forces.

Baqeri replaced Major General Hassan Firouzabadi who was appointed as an advisor to the commander in chief of armed forces.

Ayatollah Khamenei appreciated genuine efforts made by Major General Hassan Firouzabadi during his term in office.
