Kabul terrorist attack death toll rises to 30

Most of the casualties are reportedly civilian people.

According to the eyewitnesses, after a powerful explosion in front of the hospital downtown Kabul, a number of gunmen attacked the 10-storey building.

According to informed sources, the hospital is regarded as a strategic place since it overlooks many governmental buildings and is located close to the US embassy.

Shortly after the attack, Army forces stepped in entering the hospital through landing on the roof with the use of helicopters.

Clashes came to an end after six hours after all the attackers were killed by Afghan Army and security forces.
