Judiciary chief says clear definition of “rights” vital for building Islamic human rights

He made the remarks here on Tuesday when addressing a gathering in Tehran to commemorate August 4 which is designated as Islamic Human Rights Day.

The event also observed Islamic Human Rights Award presentation in Tehran.

He said the issue of human rights is a hard core notion both in theoretical and practical aspects.

The ayatollah further noted that huge volume of work has been so far done to define the humans’ rights and illuminate its essence.

He said the notion of man’s “rights” is basically a very essential one for Muslims.
