Judiciary chief: Palestine issue not limited to specific geographical areas

Amoli Larijani made the remarks in his address in the second day of the 6th International Conference in Support of Palestinian Intifada in Tehran.

He said the issue of Palestinian lands is a criterion for evaluating Western human rights claims.

Larijani added the issue of Palestine belongs to all Muslim nations and does not belong to a specific region.

Judiciary chief also described Islam as the pioneer of peace across the world.

The conference inaugurated in the presence of the Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei with participation of 80 delegations from different world countries in Tehran on Tuesday morning (Feb 21, 2017). The Leader inaugurated the event by addressing the conference.

700 foreign guests and representatives of the pro-Palestinian organizations have attended the conference in Tehran.

The conference will end this afternoon with President Hassan Rouhani's speech. A statement will also be released at the closing ceremony.
