Jordan parliament speaker praises Iran's efforts for Palestine

in a meeting with Iran’s Ambassador to Amman Mojtaba Ferdowsipour on Wednesday, he said that using parliamentary diplomacy in this concern is very important calling for expansion of parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.

In the meeting, the two sides underlined necessity of using economic capacities for cooperation in the region as an effective element to consolidate stability and security.

Ferdowsipour submitted the invitation letter of Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani to his counterpart Atef Tarawneh to attend the international conference in support of Palestine to b held in Tehran soon.

The ambassador underlined the effective role of parliamentary diplomacy and called for establishment of
parliamentary friendship committees between Iran and Jordan.
