JCPOA stakeholders should stick to their understanding: Pakistan

Answering a question at a news briefing on the JCPOA and the attitude of new US government, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nafees Zakaria said, 'On the issue of US-Iran nuclear deal, Pakistan maintains its position on the understanding reached by all stakeholders.

Pakistan has consistently maintained that Iran's nuclear issue should be peacefully resolved through dialogue, he said.

“As a neighboring country, we have also reiterated that reciprocal confidence-building measures relating to Iran's nuclear program auger well for peace and security in our region,” he noted.

Even before JCPOA, Pakistan has always reiterated that dialogue is the best solution to solve issues.
