JCPOA proves Iranians' righteousness: Pres. candidate

“The JCPOA proved Iranian nation’s righteousness and all have come to the belief that our nation is a justice seeker,” said Mostafa Mirsalim in an address to a gathering of Mazandaran University’s students in Babolsar on Monday.
He said that despite the JCPOA that reached after two years of diversified talks and Iranian nation’s loyalty to all its commitments towards the global community, the other party failed to completely fulfill all its commitments.
“On the Fatwa (religious decree) of the Supreme Leader (Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei), we have never been seeking nuclear weapons and the global community should have accepted the point,” he said.
“Diplomatically speaking, we should have further engagement with the neighboring states such as Afghanistan, Turkey and Qatar because we have common interests with the neighbors which can be met through engagement and consultation,” Mirsalim said.
