Italian 120-member delegation bound for Iran

Mohammad Mohammadpour Omran told IRNA that the team is from the Italian province of Marche province known as a major industrial and economic pole of Italy.

The visit will take three days, he said, noting that the delegation will hold talks with senior provincial officials, in addition to visiting production and industrial units including Amirabad Port.

The Italian delegation is the biggest foreign team which is to visit Mazandaran in post-sanctions era.

Earlier, some 10 foreign delegations from Russia, Canada, Greece, France, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and several other Asian and European states visited the province after removal of sanctions.

Mazandaran province hosted a Russian economic and media delegation this week.
