IT Minister in Moscow for joint co-op commission

Upon arrival, Vaezi was welcomed by Iran’s Ambassador to Moscow Mehdi Sanaei.

During his two-day stay in Moscow, Vaezi is due to hold talks with senior Russian officials including Minister of Energy Alexander Novak.

In related developments, Iranian and Russian presidents are to hold talks in near future as Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani plans a trip to Russia in late March.

During Rouhani’s trip to Moscow, further development of bilateral cooperation is to be discussed.

In addition to economic relations, Tehran and Moscow are making progress in their political ties as the two countries cooperate in international and regional arenas.
