Islamic Jihad hails Iran's support for Palestinian nation

He made the remarks in a meeting with Chairman of Iran's parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Committee Alaeddin Boroujerdi on Tuesday.

Iran's support for Palestine is vital and determining, Abdullah Shallah said.

The official praised Iran's continued and all-out support for the Palestinian people.

During the meeting, Boroujerdi and Abdullah Shallah stressed liberation of all Palestinian territories from the Zionist occupiers.

They also explored ways for supporting the Palestinian nation and resistance against the Zionist enemy.

The two officials condemned normalization of relations between the alleged supporters of the Palestinian people and the Zionist regime.

The visit by certain officials in Arab states to the Occupied Territories is aimed at securing the interests of the Zionists, the United States and the world arrogance, the two officials said.

Reaching any type of compromise with the Zionist regime is not only a betrayal of the Palestinian people's ideals but also it is a betrayal of the Arabic-Islamic Ummah, they added.

The two officials called on the regional states to stop collaborating with the Zionist regime and their conspiracy against the oppressed people of Palestine.

Boroujerdi began his two day official visit to Lebanon on Monday during which he is expected to hold talks with Lebanese and Palestinian top officials.
