Iraqi vice-speaker, Iranian MPs discuss bilateral ties in Baghdad

Hamoudi met with Head of Majlis Development Commission Mohammad Reza Rezaei and his accompanying delegation in the Iraqi capital.

During the meeting, Hamoudi called for the expansion of relations, specially in the parliamentary fields.

The Iraqi vice-speaker, meantime, called for expediting the cleaning process of Arvand River from sunken ships and boats while underlining the importance of banking exchanges between central banks of Iran and Iraq.

Head of Iraq-Iran Parliamentary Friendship Commission Abbas al-Bayati and member of Iraqi parliament’s economy and investment commission Abdelkarim al-Naqib were also present in the meeting.

The two sides discussed parliamentary ties and ways for confronting the common challenges.
