Iran’s Navy flotilla docks at India’s Cochin Port

While the Iranian flotilla is in Cochin, Iranian students of maritime science will get acquainted with experiences of Indian Navy and will participate in joint cultural and sports events with their peers from India.

Commander of the flotilla Colonel Qorbani expressed pleasure with expansion of naval relations between the two countries and expressed hope that Iran and India would hold joint naval maneuvers in the future.

The two countries have good military and defensive relations.

In June 2016, an Indian flotilla docked at Bandar Abbas, Hormuzgan province.

The Iranian flotilla will depart Cochin Port on Tuesday.
