Bahram Qasemi expressed hope that during the new administration, Iran-Brazil relations will expand in all fields including economic and political areas.
He also congratulated the Brazilian government and nation and wished success for the president-elect.
Iran and Brazil enjoy 118 years of bilateral relations, which have always been growing and stable, Qasemi added.
The far-right presidential candidate Jair Bolsonaro has won the election.
