Iran's envoy discusses bilateral with Ukrainian minister

In the meeting, Omelian underlined continuation of expansion of cooperation between the two countries, especially in the sector of transportation, transferring goods to Europe and the Persian Gulf region through Ukraine and Iran.

He welcomed the Iranian side's proposal, and said that as coordinated by the Iranian side, officials in Infrastructure Ministry have been bliged to prepare the grounds for transferring a container from Odessa Port on Black Sea shore to Iranian port of Anzali in Caspian Sea and vice versa.

The ambassador welcomed development of transport and commercial cooperation with Ukraine and by pointing to reduction of expenses in the proposal route, expressed Iran's readiness to execute the plan.
