Iran’s elections enjoys most transparent pattern of democracy

Talking to IRNA, Khalil reiterated that the elections is an indication of Iranian nation’s vividness.

He added the Iranian elections enjoy the highest turnout which is unique among the Islamic and Arab countries.

Iran enjoys an unparalleled pattern of elections, the Lebanese minister said, adding that this model should be promoted in other countries.

'These days we are reviewing the election rules which should be acceptable by all sides in this Arab country to defuse the country's political and economic crisis,' Khalil said while referring to Lebanon’s elections rules.

He added that the Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri believes that the solutions should be required with positive notion and pave the way for the participation of all political groups.

In order to reach a collective rule, all political groups should retreat their stances in some extent, the Lebanese minister added.

All Iranian compatriots with the aim of participation in determining their country’s future through participation in the presidential elections may go to the polling stations on Friday May 19, 2017 and cast their votes.

Ebrahim Raeisi, the custodian of Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine, Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri, Tehran Mayor Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, former minister of culture and Islamic guidance Mostafa Mirsalim and former minister of physical education Mostafa Hashemi Taba, as well as President Hassan Rouhani are the six candidates to compete in the forthcoming presidential elections.

Over 56 million Iranians are eligible to vote in Iran's 12th presidential elections, according to Ali Asghar Ahmadi, head of the Election Headquarters of the Interior Ministry.
