Iranian flotilla returns home

The Navy flotilla docked at Bandar Abbas Port after successfully accomplishing its 150-day mission to safeguard security of shipping routes in the Gulf of Aden and Bab al-Mandab.

Bab el-Mandeb is a strait located between Yemen on the Arabian Peninsula, and Djibouti and Eritrea in the Horn of Africa. It connects the Red Sea to the Gulf of Aden.
During its mission, the fleet had docked in Dar es-Salaam, Tanzania, and Durban, South Africa.

The Iranian flotilla successfully sailed the international waters of the Atlantic Ocean at full strength, despite baseless claims made by certain countries that Iranian naval forces are incapable to carry out the mission.
