Iranian embassy strongly condemns attack on British parliament

The attack which was later claimed by the terrorist group of Daesh, was carried out on Wednesday after an assailant plowed a car into pedestrians and stabbed a police officer.

The Iranian embassy in a message on its twitter account expressed its sympathy with the bereaved families of the victims.

Earlier, Spokesman of Foreign Ministry Bahram Qasemi strongly condemned the incident reiterating Tehran’s determination to fight against extremism and violence with the aim of uprooting terrorism.

Qasemi underlined that the Islamic Republic of Iran invites all countries to form a coalition and foster cooperation aimed at tackling terrorism.
