Iranian citizens can still apply for visa: US Department of State

The official website of US 'virtual embassy' for Iran said that despite the new US President Donald Trump visa ban for Muslim majority countries, including Iran, the US embassies and consulates would continue examining visa requests from these countries.

The US Department of State noted that it will suspend the executive order for banning visa issuance for the seven Muslim majority countries based on the court’s orders.

Several courts across the US have issued orders that challenge Trump visa ban for the Muslim majority countries.
