Iranian border guard martyred in southeastern region

The deadly accident took place when the border guards were carrying military rations to be distributed among their colleagues in the town of Jakigur.

Around four Iranian border guards were also killed in clashes with bandits in Jakigur on July 6, 2016.

Jakigur is located 560 kilometers south of the provincial capital Zahedan.
