Yonathan Betkolia, Representative of Assyrian and Chaldean Christians in Iran's Parliament and the Secretary General of Assyrian Universal Alliance (AUA), also invited President Michel Aoun to participate in the AUA world congress.
The congress will be held in September in Beirut.
Betkolia said the congress will be attended by prominent Christian and Muslim figures as well as Assyrian leaders and representatives from across the world.
The lawmaker also presented to his host a report on the status of Iranian Assyrians.
Assyrian Universal Alliance is an ethnic Assyrian umbrella organization in the Middle East, made up of different sectors of the Assyrian federations and organizations throughout the world.
