Iran: US foreign policy confused, influenced by false inductions

This is clearly reflected in recent interventionist comments made by The US secretary of state, Qasemi said.

Recent anti-Iran remarks by Rex Tillerson are interventionist, violating principles of international law, unaccepted and strongly condemned.

“Efforts to create division among the unified Iranian people or any rift in Iran’s establishment are undoubtedly mere wishes expressed in the immature and unjustified remarks by the US official which will go nowhere like the past four decades,” the spokesman said.

He said that US intervention in Iranian affairs since 1950s has led to Iranians’ hatred and it has discredited the United States in the global arena.

The US officials have apparently forgotten that their predecessors were recently forced to apologize the Iranian people for the role Washington played in Iran’s 1953 coup which toppled the country’s democratically-elected government, Qasemi said.

The only way before them is to truly understand the realities of the Islamic Republic as well as the entire region and stop the ineffective language of warning and avoid interfering in domestic affairs of Iran and other regional nations, the spokesman added.
