Iran, Uganda underline expansion of bilateral cooperation

During the meeting, the two sides underlined expansion of bilateral cooperation and development of relations.

Mortazavi pointed to Iranian companies' technical, engineering capabilities in different economic, industry, agriculture, power plant and construction sectors, and underlined importance of using such capacities to develop and progress Uganda.

He also invited senior officials of Uganda to participate in swearing-in ceremony of President Rouhani on August 5, 2017.

Mussa Ali also underlined the necessity to increase economic cooperation and development of ties with Iran.

The two sides also considered developments in west Asia and emphasized real fight with terrorism and creating unity and brotherhood among Muslim states.
