Iran supports every move to develop stability and security in the region: Amir Abdollahian

He made the remarks in meeting with Kuwaiti charge d’ affaires in Tehran Fallah al-Hajraf on Wednesday.

Amir-Abdollahian said that Kuwait constructive role in assisting consolidation of peace, stability and security in the region is so important.

He also called Kuwaiti stances on regional countries like Syria, Iraq and Yemen constructive and useful.

Amir-Abdollahian said that Iran and Kuwait are two effective states and may play constructive role in decreasing tensions in the region.

He said that Majlis (parliament) is following up cooperation between the two countries with interest.

Fallah al-Hajraf, for his part, expressed concern for wide range of crimes committed by the terrorists groups and continuation of critical situation in some countries of the region and expressed hope that Islamic states by cooperation and solidarity can play constructive role in solving regional crises.

He added that Kuwait has always wanted stability and security in the region and dialogue between conflicting sides in Yemen and believes political solution would be the best way to settle problems and prevent expansion of crisis between Yemeni groups.

Al-Hajraf said that increasing consultation between officials of the two countries will be effective in recovery of current problems in the region.
