Iran, Slovenia keen on boosting ties

The two officials explored ways of promoting bilateral relations in all fields including political, economic and cultural arenas and implementation of agreements reached during the Slovenian president’s visit to Tehran last year.

Ramandi expressed satisfaction with the growing trend of bilateral relations in various fields, hoping that mutual cooperation will further improve in light of the political resolve of the officials of the two countries for boosting ties.

Petrich, for his part, pointed to Iran’s special place in the region, underlining European Union’s stance in keeping the JCPOA, official title of the nuclear deal reached between Iran and six world powers in 2015.

The two sides also shared views on the latest regional and global developments.
