Iran, S. Korea sign parliamentary MoU

The MoU was signed by the head of Iran's parliament research center Kazem Jalali and his South Korean counterpart Lee Nae Young.

Kazemi described the level of cooperation between Iran and South Korea, both before and after the economic sanctions on Iran, as good and expressed hope that the trend will continue.

The continuation of cooperation on parliamentary research can lead to advances of expertise in lawmaking process, he said.

The Korean official, in the meeting, highlighted the role of lawmaking and said that in today world the need to research for lawmaking is felt much more than the past.

'With research, making more precise and efficient laws in parliaments becomes possible,' he said.

The first MoU between the two parliamentary research centers was signed in July 2014.
