Iran FM leaves Iran for Tajikistan to attend ECO meeting

Mohammad-Javad Zarif is heading a political delegation for taking part in the 23rd ministerial meeting of ECO member states.

Iran, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are members of ECO.

The meeting will be held in Tajikistan's capital city, Dushanbe on Tuesday.

Foreign Minister Zarif will also hold talks with senior Tajik officials to discuss the ways of expanding and boosting bilateral ties between Iran and Tajikistan.
