Iran rejects Franse's 'biased', 'unilateral' outlook to ME crises

Reacting to the statement of France foreign minister in his visit to Saudi Arabia in a joint press conference with his Saudi counterpart, Bahram Qasemi said, 'The fact that certain officials from trans-regional countries travel to the Persian Gulf and by ignoring the existing obvious realities of the region and influenced by Saudi illusioned and warmonger officials, repeat their fabriccated and baseless worries about Iran, will not solve any of the regional problems. Problems in which the destructive role of Saudi Arabia is quite visible. These statements cannot even help Riyadh exit from the domestic and regional crises in which it is engulfed.

The spokesman said,' Sale of lethal weapons by certain trans-regional countries to regional countries which are used in bloody war in Yemen, among other places, and their support for Saudi Arabia and its regional partners, have only made these countries more aggressive in creating new crises and have aggarvated and intensified instability and inecurity in this sensitive region of the world.'

'The current situation in the region and the need for strengthenig and expansion of stability and security as well as helping the struggle against terrorism require realistic and responsible words and deeds on the side of other countries officials,' concluded the spokesman.
