Iran ready to stand against all enemy threats: Minister

Speaking in a local gathering, Dehqan reiterated that Iran has managed to indigenize defense industry-related technologies.

The country could withstand any kind of threats and foil any plots posed against the Islamic Republic, he said.

Commenting on Iran’s achievements in manufacturing defense hardware for its ground and marine forces, the minister underscored that so far threats by the enemies have tended to be quite ineffective.

The main reason for all the plots and threats the enemies have made since the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979, is putting an end to the Islamic rule in the region, he said.

They want to rein in influence of the Islamic Revolution, General Dehqan said.

They use all in their capacity to achieve their goals, he added, referring to the enemies.

The defense minister also said that the enemies by exploiting an array of slogans and so-called values are trying to extend their influence in the region and never stop committing any crimes to achieve their evil purposes.
