Iran, Pakistan trying to establish peace, security in region

Larijani made the remarks in a Saturday press conference which was held after his meeting with National Assembly of Pakistan’s speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.

He referred to the fact that Pakistan is a friendly and neighboring country for Iran, and said that the country plays major role in making peace in the region.

'We have held close negotiations with Pakistan in regional and international bodies and both countries have a lot in common in solving regional problems,' Larijani added.

He went on to say that we discussed on different issues like boosting economic ties.
