Iran not to hold new round of talks on JCPOA: Judiciary chief

The JCPOA stands for Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, the official name of the agreement reached between Iran and six world major powers in 2015 to give Tehran sanctions relief in return for scaling back its nuclear program.

Addressing a session of high-ranking judicial officials, he addressed the US statesmen and said 'You are arming a country like Saudi Arabia to commit crimes in Yemen.'

'In addition to disturbing regional security, you are out to milk them,' he said while addressing American statesmen, noting 'While an illusive, unbalanced and wicked man like Trump leads your government, how do you dare to speak of negotiations on Iran’s defense capabilities?'

Iran has never been intimidated by the enemies thank to the unity between the people and officials and wise leadership of the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, he said, adding that it will leave behind the challenges, too.

“Both enemies and friends know that Iran has the final say in the region,” he said.

Referring to wide-scale psychological warfare against Iran under the pretext of walking away from JCPOA, he said that the US president acts in such a way that it seems all the future of the Iranian nation and country depend on his choice.

Over the past 40 years, the US has directly or indirectly been engaged in such psychological warfare against Iran, Ayatollah Amoli said, noting, “The Iranian nation that has strongly stood against all the US and its allies’ threats and pressures will never surrender to such psychological warfare.”
