Iran, Mali underline deepening of ties

Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani called the level of relations between Islamic Republic and the African countries, in particular Africa, satisfactory.

'I hope, we get able to promote the level of economic relations,' the speaker added.

In the meantime, Mali Parliament Speaker Issaka Sidibé said, 'Mali will remain a friend of Iran and will never cooperate with Iran enemies.'

'Many African countries are keen to develop ties with Iran,' he added.

Sidibé was in Iran to attend the 38th meeting of the Parliamentary Union of Islamic Cooperation (PUIC) Executive Committee in Tehran. He was chairman of the meeting.
