Iran, Iraq to strengthen joint efforts to counter sand storms

The Director of International Affairs of Department of the Environment of the Islamic Republic or Iran Majid Shafipour said that following the two-day talks on Saturday and Sunday, a decision was made as to how to control the sandstorms, apart from the meteorological dimensions.

He added a training and research center to counter the sand storms is going to be set up in Karbala in a 200-hectar land.
