The event held in Iran cultural center (Khana-e-Farhang) was attended by religious and cultural figures as well as scholars and prominent reciters of the holy Muslim Book, including Qari Wajahat Reza.
Participants described the Holy Quran as book of peace and most important factor of unity of the Islamic Ummah.
They condemned extremism and said that disunity is not acceptable in Islam.
They were of the view that if the Holy Quran is followed in letter and spirit, the Islamic Ummah would be able to overcome current challenges and problems.
