Zarif told German daily Süddeutsche Zeitung that Iran is present in Syria on the request of Syrian government, whereas the Zionist regime is conducting air raids on the Lebanese and Syrian air space, thus violating international law.

He reiterated that the Zionist regime is pursuing adventurism, which is always 'dangerous.'

Asked whether he sees any growing military dispute between Iran and the Zionist regime, Zarif said he did not see such a thing but such a possibility could not be rejected.

Zionist regime has over the past months, conducted air raids on Syria whose army has reacted against it.
