Iran FM due in Oman, Qatar

Mohammad-Javad Zarif, at the first leg of his regional tour is expected to depart Tehran for Muscat on Monday to discuss regional issues and topics relevant to bilateral ties with the Omani officials.

He is also scheduled to pay a visit to Qatar following his trip to Oman.

Iran enjoys cordial ties with Oman and Qatar. The Islamic Republic has not only mediated the ongoing rift between Qatar and Saudi Arabia but also helped the country following crippling sanctions imposed against Doha by Riyadh and its allies.
