
In his message, Jahangiri expressed the hope for further development of mutual ties between Tehran and Beijing.
'Relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the People's Republic of China have been growing over the past years,' Jahangiri said.
'I hope during your term in office, Tehran and Beijing see more rise in bilateral ties,' he added.
According to dispatches, Li Keqiang was reelected as the Chinese prime minister for the second time on Sunday.
Li was first elected as prime minister in 2013.
Last week, China passed a law ending term limits for the nation's president and vice president.
