The event hosted many Italian diplomats' families on the eve of the 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution to put a part of Iranian culture and history on display.
The cultural director of the Italian Spouses Association of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Puccii Rastelli, said in the meeting that Iran and Italy have a lot in common that include cultural and artistic treasures and historical beauties.
Some participants who used to live in Iran reminisced their good memories; one of them said, 'Iran was a dream for me that came true.'
'Iran was my house for eight years; what impressed me most was oneness with Iranian people and being totally accepted among them.'
The speaker was a fan of Iranian soccer teams as well.
They also talked about the international stance of Iranian cinema.
An Iranian movie was displayed at the end of the conference.
