'They run with the hare and hunt with the hounds,' Velayati said.
'Some of the EU members say they will remain committed to the Iran Deal; others say they will enhance their economic relations with Iran,' he said.
'Yet, there are some European officials arguing that they are not going to stand against the United States and provide [Iran with] guarantees,' Velayati added.
'The contradictions in what they say are dubious,' he stressed.
Velayati expressed hope that the Iranian negotiators could safeguard the country's guarantees.
Parties that tend to be dubious and speak contradictorily are not trustworthy, he said.
