The event was chaired by managing directors of Iran and Azerbaijan for consular affairs.

During the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction over achievements made in boosting visa facilities, judiciary cooperation, extradition of inmates and fighting narcotics smuggling and systematic crimes.

The two sides also underlined continuation of implementing previously made agreements between Iran and Azerbaijan.
