Iran Army to hold major maneuvers

“During the drills, exercises suitable for several threats will be practiced,” Brigadeir General Heidari said in a press conference on the occasion of the Iran National Army Day (April 18).

Establishment of four production lines of an array of military equipment and major and tactical weaponry parts is due this year that meets the military and arms requirements of the ground forces, he said.

He also announced the establishment of rapid reaction brigade in ground forces, stressing upon having in possession of agile and expert units as one of the promoting means of deterrence and the power of the country.
