Iran, Armenia disciplinary cooperation discussed

Speaking in the meeting, Mirzaei described opportunities for Tehran-Yerevan cooperation in disciplinary field as extensive.

Talks and meetings held with the Armenian officials focused on avenues for promoting ties in the field of fighting offenses, he said.

He added that Tehran and Yerevan enjoyed valuable opportunities to promote cooperation between the two countries’ police forces.

Meanwhile the Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Kazem Sajjadi characterized political, economic and cultural relations between the countries as excellent.

He called for taking necessary approaches for enhancing bilateral cooperation in the field of fighting crimes, narcotics in particular.

The envoy urged keeping up specialized talks for boosting Iran-Armenia cooperation and exchanging delegations.
