Int'l Women's Day commemorated in Tehran school

Director of the United Nations Information Center (UNIC) in Tehran Maria Dotsenko delivered the United Nations Secretary-General’s message on the occasion.

The ceremony was organized by Ketabraneh mobile bookstore at Allameh Tabatabaee School, according to a press release faxed to IRNA by UNIC on Monday.

Civil society activists, artists, children, women and school teachers and school managers were among the audience.

International Women's Day is celebrated on March 8 every year. It commemorates the movement for women's rights.
