Int’l drug trafficking ring busted in southern Iran

According to Ata Navaki city Governor of Rudbar-e Jonoob, in addition to the narcotics, security forces confiscated two guns, including a sniper and a military arm, as well as a large amount of ammunitions and two vehicles.

Navaki added that with the tireless attempts by Iran’s intelligence forces, the region in southern Kerman now has turned into a hell for drug traffickers.

Since Kerman Province is located in a close distance from Iran’s eastern borders, the area has used to be overwhelmed with drug traffickers and illicit drugs.

Now the city of Rudbar-e Jonoob, as a result of cooperation between security, military and police forces, is witnessing sustainable security, the governor said.

Rudbar-e Jonoob is located 330 kilometers south of provincial capital, Kerman.
