Indonesia calls for saving JCPOA

Jusuf Kalla made the remarks in a meeting with visiting Iranian Vice President for Women Affairs Masoumeh Ebtekar.

He declared Jakarta's support for saving the JCPOA and noted that Indonesia is ready to broaden cooperation with Iran in all fields.

Kalla referred to the historical relations between Tehran and Jakarta and said that Indonesia is interested in development of economic relations with Iran, in particular in the field of energy.

Iranian Vice President for Women Affairs Masoumeh Ebtekar on Tuesday evening local time left Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur for the Indonesian capital, Jakarta.

During her trip to Malaysia, Ebtekar delivered the message of Iran's President to PM Mahathir Mohammad on Monday.
