ICJ to deliver order on Iran’s lawsuit against US

Tehran lodged a lawsuit with the ICJ, accusing the US of violating the 1955 Treaty of Amity with Iran, pressing two rounds of tough sanctions against the country.

A public sitting will take place at 10 a.m. at the Peace Palace in the Hague, during which Judge Abdulqawi Ahmed Yusuf, President of the Court, will read the Court’s order, the website of the Court announced on Friday.
